Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Wapi data at any time. This page explains how, and documents the programmatic deletion endpoint used by Meta.
How a business requests deletion
- Email support@getwapi.shop from your account email with the subject “Delete my data”.
- Or, from Settings → Danger zone inside the app, choose “Delete workspace”.
On a verified request we delete your account, workspace, connected WhatsApp credentials, contacts, and message history within 30 days.
End customers
If you are a customer of a business that uses Wapi and want your data removed, contact that business directly (they control your data). You may also email us and we will route the request to the relevant business.
Meta data deletion callback
In accordance with Meta's Platform requirements, Wapi exposes a data deletion callback at /api/data-deletion. When a user removes Wapi from their Meta account, Meta calls this endpoint and we delete the associated data, returning a confirmation URL and code as required.
